Walking

We are almost surrounded by fells! Take your pick. The low level route of Wainwrights C2C passes our road end. Visit RSPB's Haweswater estate, walk over to Pooley Bridge at Lake Ullswater and take the steamer across to Glenridding, For families, take a 'Tale trail'. Tale Trails are local 1-2 hour family walks based around a fun story and a hand drawn map for kids. Look out for the Marsh Kelpie of Askham Fell!
